We are having a Otsego County Forum to discuss the interest in forming a Land Bank in the Mohawk Valley Region.  The event will be held at the Shineman Chapel at Hartwick College on Monday, November 10, 2014 @ 6:00 pm.  RSVP’s would be welcome.

We are inviting all local governments in Otsego County, businesses and any other interested party that is interested in finding out more about starting a Land Bank.

Land Bank’s major role is to take tax delinquent properties, abandoned properties as well as run down properties and getting them back on the tax rolls.

We have put the forum on in Oneida, Herkimer, Fulton and Montgomery Counties with great success.  All who came are very interested in forming a Land Bank in the six county Mohawk Valley Region.  Please see the attached document.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
