Please join the Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. for a Foothills Day of Giving!  You can drop off nonperishable food items at Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center’s Atrium Entrance. A volunteer will accept your donation right at your car. Donations will be taken to local food banks. Please help Foothills help our neighbors! Join us for a Foothills Holiday Open House from4:00p.m.-5:00p.m. in the Atrium to celebrate the holidays with refreshments and music.

SUNY Oneonta invites representatives from your organization to learn more about our internship programs. Join us for a Business After Hours networking reception in collaboration with the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 4:30p.m.-6:00p.m. at Le Café in the Morris Conference Center. We would like to show our appreciation for organizations that continue to provide quality experiential learning opportunities and offer support and partnership to organizations new to experiential learning! Join us for a kick off and thought provoking discussion on the importance of supporting small business in our region and for the first is a series of events for THINK LOCAL FIRST,  a collaborative awareness campaign in support of local business and our economy by the Cooperstown and Otsego County Chambers of Commerce.   Panelists will share their personal and professional viewpoints on shopping and supporting local business and will welcome your thoughts and questions.   This is a timely program as holiday shopping is in full stride.   

THINK LOCAL FIRST cling window decals will be available for the first time and distributed to participants.
A continental breakfast will be served featuring coffee by Stagecoach Coffee and
a selection of delicious breakfast pastries and treats from Schneider’s Bakery,
both long standing, small businesses in Cooperstown.
Please invite your employees, your family and friends – this is a dialog for all who live and work in our region!

Tri-County Young Professionals Holiday Party!
Come join the Tri-County Young Professionals on Wednesday, December 11th, from 6-8pm on the fifth floor of the Chamber building at 189 Main Street Oneonta. There will be young professionals from both Otsego and Cooperstown Chambers in attendance. Come enjoy great music and food. You will have the chance to meet other YP’s and usher in the Holiday’s two weeks early! We encourage you to bring your significant other or a friend. Please bring a gift under $5 to exchange and any donation you can make at the door would be greatly appreciated!
