Leadership Otego
On July 12, 2023, the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce was proud to host the seventh and final session of Leadership Otsego. Running from February into July, this course for current and future organization leaders focused on a wide variety of leadership theories and skills, as well as project management and teamwork. The Class of 2023 included 27 individuals from a wide range of businesses and organizations throughout Otsego County. From Cooperstown and Edmeston, Milford and Oneonta, Hartwick and Laurens. Each participant was enrolled into this program as an investment in them from their respective organization to enhance their existing skillset and to expose them to new and interesting viewpoints of presenters, area professionals and their fellow teammates in the process.
In this area of the site, you will find the year end project presentation of this group. They were tasked with identifying the major issues within Otsego County that needed action to improve the lives of its residents. They identified Quality of Place as a central theme, and created five topics that they felt were crucial to the achievement of this goal. The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce is proud of each and every participant for the role they played in this effort. We look forward to continuing our relationship as they continue the journey on their individual career paths.
