JSEC is sponsoring a Workplace Investigations seminar, being held on February 27 & March 12, from 9am-4pm, at the Holiday Inn, in Oneonta, presented by Marie-Loree Allen, SPHR the Director of Human Resources at Otsego County Chapter, NYSARC. This two day seminar will provide an understanding of the tools needed to plan and conduct interviews, gather, organize and review different types of evidence, draw appropriate conclusions, document an investigation and make the right recommendations for actions. Participants will learn crucial interview techniques to gather relevant information and how to recognize deceptive behavior. Gathering information from people who have evidence relevant to an investigation is critical for investigations. You have to know how to ask the right person, the right question, at the right time and in the right place. Cost is $135 per person for both days.
