Good Morning! As a proud Alumni of SUNY Oneonta and the love of science, I am excited for tonight’s business afterhours at SUNY Oneonta. I invite our members and members of your team to explore compelling exhibits.
Attached for parking and directions: Business After Hours should print and place on your vehicle dashboards. You may park in any commuter lot and there is a large one (Lot #44) right by the Physical Science Building. The Science Discovery Center is located on the first floor of the Physical Science Building, diagonally across the street from that big lot. A current campus map is also attached. Following this business afterhours join us for a focus group on the City of Oneonta Artspace. See details below and invite attached. We have many exciting projects and activity happening in Oneonta and our region!
Join us for a Business After Hours Wednesday October 24, 2018 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at A.J. Read Science Discovery Center
The A.J. Read Science Discovery Center at SUNY Oneonta has been dazzling young and old alike with the power of science since 1989. Recently reopened and reimagined, the Center now features a beautiful 2000-square foot hands-on exhibit space, a robust—and growing—program of public science events, and, for the first time, a full-time staff.
Please join us for a fun and interactive Business After Hours on October 24th 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. and explore compelling exhibits, learn more about our programming, and maybe build a robot or two! Many cities across the country have utilized artists and their talents to revitalize their communities by providing artist live/work space. We have the opportunity to work in partnership with Artspace consultants and welcome them to the City of Oneonta on October 24-25 to listen to the needs of our artist community and to look for creative ways to support the arts and the City. Please join us at any of the public meetings and offer your thoughts and ideas.

*Unless otherwise noted, all events will take place in the second floor small theater at the Foothills Performing Arts Center, 24 Market St, Oneonta.
