A friendly reminder, The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to a celebration of the county’s Sustainable Success on Thursday, July 19, 2018 beginning with a networking reception at 5:45p.m. at The Oneonta Municipal Airport for a Summer Soiree followed by dinner and awards. If you have never been to the Oneonta Municipal Airport it is worth a trip to visit and learn about the opportunities taking place now at the Oneonta Airport. BACK TO THE 80s FUND RAISER
The Greater Oneonta Historical Society will hold a fund raiser at Deer Haven Campground, 180 Deer Haven Lane, on Saturday July 21. Live music will be provided by Flux Capacitor, Otsego County's premier 80s cover band. Admission is $25 for the event, which begins at 6:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM, rain or shine. There will be snacks and an open bar with beer, wine, and soft drinks from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and a cash bar from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. Proceeds from the event will be for the History Center building fund and GOHS' Challenge Match campaign, in which two anonymous local donors have pledged to match up to $30,000 in building fund donations received by GOHS between January 1 and August 31 of this year. Tickets are on sale (cash, check, or credit card) at the History Center, 183 Main Street, and at Deer Haven (cash only) in advance and at the event. The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce is having its 32 Annual Golf Tournament. To be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Oneonta Country Club. Shot gun starts at 10:00a.m. Registration starts at 9:00am.
