The Oneonta Vets Club, 279 Chestnut Street, is hosting a fish fry on Friday June 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM to benefit the building fund of the Greater Oneonta Historical Society (GOHS). The fish fry dinner includes coleslaw, French fries, rolls, cake, and coffee or tea for $10.00. Executive Director Bob Brzozowski says, “If you were at last year’s GOHS fish fry at the Vets Club, you know what a delicious meal Wayne Gregory and his team serve.” The profits from the event will be matched as part of the Building Fund Challenge Match to raise up to $30,000 that will be matched by two anonymous local donors.
