City of Oneonta Mayor Gary Herzig has created an Oneonta Control Group consisting of student and staff representatives from both SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College, City Officials, the local business community, and residents.
The group will meet weekly to monitor the impact of returning college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The group will be expected to work as a team in recommending new initiatives or adjustments to current policies and practices as needed with the goal of keeping all members of our community safe and healthy. All meetings will be held virtually and open to viewing by the public.
