Downtown Oneonta Welcomes Brewery Ommegang & 25 Other Breweries for Beer Festival
On Saturday, March 1st – Muller Plaza and the surrounding streets are going to be full of life, laughter, food, & great beer. As the world of Craft beer becomes increasingly popular, Oneonta is excited to be the chosen location for Brewery Ommegang’s Winter Beer Festival – Snommegang. Ommegang has joined hands with some of the area’s destination hotels and restaurants to support the arrival of some of the world’s finest breweries. Tastings from 25+ award winning breweries, including Duvel, Ithaca, Good Nature Brewing, Stone, Brooklyn, & Bell’s will be available throughout the day. Hotels are offering packaged deals for a weekend stay, and restaurants downtown will be offering specials and showcasing their finest dishes.

On March 1st Brewery Ommegang and Duvel Moortgat present the first annual Snommegang Invitational Beer Festival. Come join us on Main Street in Oneonta for some great beer and great music from around the country and some of the greatest food in the country provided by the fantastic restaurants on Main Street.
The event will begin at 2pm on Saturday March 1st on Main St. Oneonta. Main Street will be closed from Ford Ave. to Dietz St. and the event will take place under a series of heated tents right in the street. A large heated tent will be placed in Muller plaza featuring music and entertainment and will be open to the public. However to gain admission to the heated beer tasting tents you will need to present your ticket and a valid government issued ID verifying your age as over 21. The tasting session will conclude at 6pm and be followed by additional beer dinners and tap takeovers at Oneonta bars. More details on these additional events to come.
Also don’t forget to stop for some great food and to warm in any of the great restaurants on Main St. There will also be food vendors in Muller plaza in case you don’t want to miss any of the action.
Tickets for this event will be available through etix.com on January 15th and will be $50 for general admission and $40 for students (w/ valid student ID). Additional physical tickets are available locally from The Green Toad Bookstore in Oneonta and The Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce.
