WDBLocalJobs.pdfThe Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties (WDB/HMO) now offers a local job search link on its website.
This valuable new resource allows you to input job titles and search available positions in real-time in six counties: Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego. The resource also shows a running total of jobs currently available in each of these counties.
The WDB worked with Chmura/JobsEQ to create a target specific algorithm to display current job opportunities that are searchable by both county and job title. Capraro Technologies then integrated the interface into WDB/HMO’s website. The WDB and its local American Job Center offices in HMO and CDO offer services to residents to help strengthen the workforce and help workers prepare for and achieve meaningful careers — including dislocated workers, youth, workers with a disability, workers affected by the opioid crisis, ex-offenders, underserved populations and others. Along with providing assistance to job seekers, the American Job Center offices can provide a wide range of support to area businesses, helping to maintain and strengthen their workforce.
